INTERIOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Palmer Johnson is looking for an experienced Interior Design and Construction Supervisor in our Pisa production facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The best candidate will be able to take projects from start to finish, display a strong ability to multitask, hit crucial KPIs and ensure that the project is properly staffed and supplied with the relevant materials and man-power.
The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding in high speed yacht construction, managing the interior production trades and subcontractors, overseeing the quality, building sequence, project schedule and budget.
General knowledge of all engineering system engineering and operations:
High experience in yacht interior fitting and exterior public areas
Knowledge of interior joinery design and design details
Review Technical drawings and information prior installation
Verify eventual clashes with the systems and structure in the 3D model
Be able to verify changes and cost & time impact during the build
Identify sequences of installation
Preparation of the work and scheduling
Coordinating all the interior trades work on a daily base: organizing short daily meetings with the internal and subcontractor foreman to ensure that all the crews can work with no disruption according to the schedule.
Verify the material is delivered at the expected time.
Quality control and assurance during and after the production activities carried out and ensuring the cleanness of rooms/area’s at the end of every day.
Tracking all the non-conformity and documenting with photos
Produce sketches and drawings if required.
Clear, transparent communication and professional representation of the company with respect to both internal and external contacts.
Competence in management, presentation and moderation.
Result oriented as part of a team as well as independently.
Have a clear understanding of marine systems in the interior areas of a yachts: HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical devices and panels…
Occasional travel between yards and the interior manufacturing sites.
Reporting to the Upper Management the progress of the build on a monthly base or as required.
